Typical work hours for this role are Saturday through Tuesday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with flexible scheduling options available to fit individual needs, including both full-time and part-time opportunities. Housekeepers are essential to the daily operations of the facility by ensuring all resident areas and common spaces are hygienic and orderly. This job demands physical abilities such as bending, lifting, stooping, kneeling, crawling, pushing, reaching, carrying, and standing for extended periods, as well as the capability to move furniture when necessary. A minimum of one year of relevant experience in hospitality, hotels, or senior living is preferred to help the associate succeed in this role.\n\nIn addition to a competitive salary range from $16.90 to $17.50 per hour, which reflects factors like education, experience, and certifications, Pegasus Senior Living offers an impressive comprehensive benefits package. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year relevant experience in hospitality, hotels, or senior living
- Ability to climb, bend, lift, stoop, kneel, crawl, push, reach, carry, and stand for extended periods
- Must be able to move furniture as needed
- Availability to work Saturday through Tuesday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum one year of experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or senior living preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and prolonged standing
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Clean resident rooms and common areas thoroughly
- Scrub, mop, sweep, and vacuum floors
- Dispose of trash and ensure cleanliness of waste disposal areas
- Maintain stock of cleaning supplies and report inventory needs
- Follow health and safety protocols during cleaning tasks
- Assist in moving furniture as needed
- Support other team members in maintaining a safe living environment
