As a Housekeeper at Marriott Vacations Worldwide, you will play an essential role in ensuring that villas are cleaned according to high standards across kitchens, bathrooms, dining rooms, and bedrooms. You will be responsible for replacing guest amenities such as linens, towels, toiletries, and kitchen items systematically and reporting room status to supervisors to maintain smooth operations. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency in completing assigned rooms and tasks within scheduled shifts, and the ability to manage housekeeping carts stocked with supplies and chemicals. Additionally, you will be expected to follow all company policies and safety procedures while promptly reporting any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or accidents. A positive attitude toward guest service and teamwork is critical, as the Housekeeper welcomes and greets guests, interacts professionally with colleagues and customers, contributes to team goals, and supports the overall guest experience and company standards.
This position requires flexibility in work schedule, as shifts may include holidays and weekends. Physical requirements of the role involve reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods. The ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance is essential. Additionally, candidates may be subject to background and drug screenings in accordance with company policy and applicable legal requirements.

Job Qualifications

- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred

Job Duties
- Cleans the entirety of villas including kitchens, bathrooms, dining rooms, bedrooms according to standards
- Completes assigned rooms and tasks within the scheduled shift
- Replaces all guest amenities such as linens, towels, toiletries, and kitchen items according to standards
- Reports room status to the Main Linen Room, Housekeeping Manager/Supervisor, or Front Desk
- Fills the housekeeping cart/caddy with all necessary supplies/chemicals, transports the cart/caddy to the rooms, and returns the cart to the designated area at the end of the shift
- Follows all company policies and procedures, reports any maintenance problems, safety hazards, and/or accidents
- Welcomes and greets guests and anticipates and addresses their needs
