Job Description
Princeton Management is a reputable property management company specializing in providing high-quality residential living experiences. With a strong commitment to maintaining well-kept, appealing, and safe apartment communities, Princeton Management ensures that its residents enjoy a welcoming and comfortable environment. Known for its attention to detail and customer-focused approach, the company strives to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and overall property management in every community it operates. The company embraces diversity and inclusion, promoting a positive work culture where employees have opportunities for career advancement and professional growth. Princeton Management offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, competitive wages, and a supportive work environment fostering teamwork and respect among staff members.
We are currently seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at a well-maintained and welcoming apartment community managed by Princeton Management. This role is pivotal to ensuring that the property reflects the high standards expected and deserved by our residents. The Housekeeper will play an essential part in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of common areas, amenities, and vacant apartment homes to deliver an exceptional living experience. This is a full-time position operating Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts designed to provide a consistent and manageable schedule.
The Housekeeper's responsibilities encompass performing regular cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in common areas and hallways. Additionally, the role requires cleaning and maintaining entryways, lobbies, elevators, fitness centers, leasing offices, restrooms, and other shared spaces, ensuring they remain tidy and inviting at all times. Restocking supplies like paper products and cleaning materials in designated areas will be part of daily operations. The Housekeeper will act as a vigilant observer, promptly notifying management of any maintenance issues, damages, or repairs required in common areas to maintain property integrity and safety.
Adhering to established health and safety guidelines is a critical aspect of this position, ensuring a clean and hazard-free environment. The Housekeeper will also prepare vacant apartments, known as "make-readies," making sure these units are spotless, fresh, and move-in ready for new residents. Attention to detail is crucial as the role involves dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly, as well as removing trash and maintaining dumpster areas in a clean and orderly condition. From assisting with seasonal or deep-cleaning projects to providing exceptional customer service and promptly addressing cleaning-related concerns from residents, the Housekeeper will contribute significantly to fostering a pleasant residential atmosphere.
Princeton Management values its employees and offers competitive wages, health, dental, and vision benefits, life insurance, and AD&D coverage. Additional benefits include short-term disability, AFLAC, 401(k) and 401(k) Roth plans, Allyhealth Tele-Medicine services, flexible spending accounts, paid holidays, and PTO time. Training and professional development opportunities are provided to support the growth of team members, along with a positive and inclusive workplace culture. There are ample opportunities for career advancement within the company for motivated individuals looking to build a rewarding career in property management and maintenance.
