Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to pass background clearances and health screening including negative TB test within the last 6 months
- Ability to use standard cleaning equipment and supplies
- Able to meet physical demands including prolonged standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and pushing carts up to 250 pounds
- Compassion for elderly and ability to work in resident-centered environment with exposure to bodily fluids and chemicals
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to handle multitasking in a team-oriented workplace
- Must comply with federal and state regulations including HIPAA and licensing requirements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Compassion for elderly and ability to interact effectively with diverse resident populations
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional image at all times
Job Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning and sanitation of resident apartments, public areas, and offices
- Ensure hazard mitigation by posting safety signs and managing waste removal
- Follow safety protocols including use of personal protective equipment and proper chemical handling
- Maintain operational readiness by keeping workspaces organized and hazard-free
- Greet residents warmly and respond to simple requests while reporting concerns promptly
- Assist with resident laundry services as needed
- Comply with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations and company policies
- Foster teamwork through open communication and perform other duties as assigned
