As a Housekeeper with White Lodging at Aloft Austin Downtown, you will be instrumental in creating a pristine, inviting environment. Your duties will encompass cleaning guest rooms and bathrooms to sparkling standards, managing linens and trash, restocking rooms, and ensuring the organization and cleanliness of communal areas. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • one year of prior cleaning experience preferred but not required
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • ability to lift, carry, or move up to 10 lbs regularly and 25 lbs occasionally
  • ability to stand and move quickly for long periods of time
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • completion of training with certification sign-off

Job Duties

  • Provide the highest quality of service to guests by anticipating and exceeding their expectations
  • ensure guest rooms and bathrooms are clean, sanitary, and sparkling
  • strip dirty linen and trash, clean bathrooms, make beds, dust, vacuum, and restock rooms
  • clean, organize, and restock the housekeeping cart
  • self-inspect rooms and submit room status reports to supervisor upon completion
  • practice safety standards at all times and help maintain a safe property for guests and associates
  • perform other duties as assigned
