Job Description

Timber Ridge at Talus is a distinguished senior living community situated at the base of Cougar Mountain in Issaquah, Washington. This community stands out among the Eastside's senior living options for its unique combination of an all-inclusive lifestyle, superior hospitality, and a stunning natural setting that resonates with the residents' love for the Pacific Northwest. As the area's first Silver LEED-certified life care services (LCS) community, Timber Ridge emphasizes sustainability and environmental responsibility, providing a harmonious blend of comfort and ecological consciousness for its well-traveled and outdoor-loving senior residents. Residents enjoy a dynamic lifestyle that includes socializing over dinner, exploring nearby hiking trails, and taking in spectacular mountain views, making this community a vibrant and engaging place to live. The community's commitment to quality and sustainability positions it as a leader in senior living, reflecting modern values and the evolving needs of its residents.

The Housekeeping Associate role at Timber Ridge at Talus is a full-time position within the Environmental Services department, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This position offers a competitive starting pay of $21 per hour and includes a $1000 retention bonus, making it an attractive opportunity for skilled housekeeping professionals. The Housekeeping Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, neatness, and overall hygiene of the community's apartments and common areas. This position requires someone who can perform various housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, dusting, and other related tasks that contribute to a clean and welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike.

In addition to the daily housekeeping responsibilities, the role requires attention to work priorities as set by supervisors and adherence to community standards. Equipment maintenance, attending in-service trainings, and ensuring resident confidentiality are also integral parts of the job. Physical stamina is essential as the role involves moderate to heavy physical efforts, including standing and walking for up to eight hours, lifting up to 30 pounds, and operating cleaning equipment in diverse settings within the facility. The environment may expose the Housekeeping Associate to various challenges such as cleaning chemicals, high heat levels, and potential communicable diseases, requiring a responsible and health-conscious individual.

Timber Ridge at Talus offers an impressive benefits package that supports employees' health, well-being, and professional growth. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability insurance; a 401(k) plan with company match; health savings and flexible spending accounts; an employee assistance program; paid time off and six paid holidays; pet insurance; employee discounts on wireless plans and retail; tuition reimbursement; free Lyft rides to and from the Issaquah Transit Center; complimentary underground parking; and free meals during shifts. Additionally, the community invests in its employees' personal and professional development through continual training and career advancement opportunities, fostering a supportive and engaging work environment. Housekeeping Associates at Timber Ridge become part of a committed team focused on delivering outstanding service in a respectful and enjoyable atmosphere, making it a rewarding place to build a career.
