The Best Western Plus Capitol Ridge is a contemporary hotel featuring 127 rooms, ideally situated near the state Capitol in the heart of downtown St. Paul, Minnesota. This newly renovated establishment is designed to offer a comfortable and pleasant environment for both business and leisure travelers. Guests can enjoy a variety of amenities including a restaurant and bar, state-of-the-art meeting facilities, a grand ballroom, and versatile tenant spaces. We are currently seeking dependable and energetic Housekeeping Attendants to join our dedicated Housekeeping Team. This role is critical in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hospitality that our guests expect from a Best Western Plus property. Being part of this team means ensuring that every guest room, public area, and back-of-house space is spotless and inviting, contributing significantly to the guest experience. The Housekeeping Attendant’s responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public spaces with an eye for detail, changing linens, sanitizing bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and other general cleaning tasks. They also ensure carts and storage areas are organized and fully stocked. Attendants interact with guests regularly and must provide courteous, positive service that enhances the home-away-from-home atmosphere. This role requires flexibility, with shifts starting at 9 a.m. on weekdays and 9:30 a.m. on weekends; both weekday and weekend work are mandatory. Full-time schedules typically range from 30 to 40 hours per week, with part-time options also available. Starting pay is $11.70 per hour, with opportunities for advancement within the hotel. - Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays averaging up to 35 hours per week
- Ability to multi task and work well under pressure
- Ability to communicate in a polite and professional manner
- Previous hotel-related experience preferred but not required
- Successful completion of a background check prior to employment

Job Duties
- Acknowledges and greet guests with a warm and friendly greeting
- Performs tasks in a thorough and thoughtful manner
- Cleans assigned guest rooms and common areas in the allotted time including changing bed linen, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, mopping and vacuuming
- Notifies the Maintenance Department of repairs needed
- Keeps storage areas and carts well-stocked, neat clean, and orderly
- Accommodates special requests
- Answers questions, and ensure our guests have a pleasant and smooth stay
