With headquarters located in West Des Moines, Iowa, and Dallas, Texas, Lifespace is dedicated to offering compassionate, purposeful, and innovative living environments for seniors. Employing over 4,500 team members and serving more than 5,100 residents, the organization focuses on fostering communities where individuals are empowered to live their aspirations. Lifespace's mission emphasizes providing meaningful, personalized experiences while supporting the growth and development of its employees, creating a workplace where teamwork and care go hand in hand.

At the Meadow Lake location in Tyler, Texas, Lifespace is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their Environmental Services team in a vital role focused on maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the community. This role is hourly paid, offering a competitive wage ranging from $12.52 to $17.25 per hour, providing an excellent opportunity for those seeking to grow their careers within the senior living sector. The Environmental Services team plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for residents by adhering to cleaning standards that promote health and well-being.

The role involves cleaning assigned resident homes and common areas within the community, including disinfecting washrooms, cleaning floors, and dusting surfaces to maintain a pristine environment. Attention is given to the proper care of residents' belongings during cleaning activities, ensuring organization and respect for personal spaces. Maintaining an organized and stocked work cart is essential, with strict adherence to safety protocols for labeling and storing cleaning chemicals and securing equipment when not in use.

Candidates will follow established infection control protocols, especially when cleaning isolation rooms, to mitigate risks and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. They will also be responsible for communicating supply requests to supervisors to ensure all necessary materials are available and properly managed.

Lifespace values candidates who are eager to learn and contribute positively to the community. No prior experience or educational requirements are necessary, making this a great opportunity for individuals looking to embark on a career in senior living. The company supports continuous growth and development, offering a supportive environment where team members can thrive, make meaningful contributions, and be part of a mission that truly makes a difference in people's lives.
