MVW is currently hiring for a full-time Housekeeper position with shifts available on the 1st and 2nd shifts. This role requires availability to work weekends and holidays, reflecting the company’s dedication to providing continuous, high-quality service to its owners and guests. As a Housekeeper at MVW, you will play a vital role in ensuring guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay by maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of vacation villas. This includes cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, dining rooms, and bedrooms to meet company standards, replacing guest amenities, and reporting room status accurately. You will be responsible for managing housekeeping supplies and equipment efficiently, following all company policies and safety guidelines, and promptly reporting any maintenance or safety issues. Additionally, you will be expected to contribute to a positive guest experience by welcoming and greeting guests, addressing their needs professionally, and collaborating effectively with colleagues to achieve department goals.

This role demands physical stamina, including the ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods. Successful candidates must be willing to work various shifts, including holidays and weekends, and comply with company requirements such as background and drug screenings as applicable. Job Requirements

  • Available to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

  • Ability to reach overhead and below knees, bend, twist, pull, stoop, stand, sit, or walk for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an asset
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain cleaning standards
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 25lbs
  • Willingness to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Clean villas including kitchens, bathrooms, dining rooms, and bedrooms according to standards
  • Complete assigned rooms and tasks within scheduled shifts
  • Replace guest amenities such as linens, towels, toiletries, and kitchen items
  • Report room status to the Main Linen Room, Housekeeping Manager/Supervisor, or Front Desk
  • Fill and transport housekeeping cart with necessary supplies, return cart to designated area at shift end
  • Follow company policies and procedures including reporting maintenance problems, safety hazards, and accidents
  • Welcome and greet guests, anticipate and address their needs, interact professionally with guests and colleagues, contribute to team goals
