The Waterford is currently seeking team members for their Environmental Services department. This hourly role, offering a pay range of $15.00 to $19.15 per hour plus additional compensation, focuses on ensuring cleanliness and hygiene within resident homes and shared areas. The role is crucial in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for residents by delivering high standards of cleaning and disinfecting critical spaces such as washrooms, floors, and common rooms. The Environmental Services team works diligently to respect residents' belongings while organizing, cleaning, and storing items carefully. When residents transition out or move within the community, team members play an essential role in preparing rooms swiftly and efficiently for new occupants, contributing directly to operational excellence.

Safety and organization are key priorities for Environmental Services staff who must keep their work carts properly stocked, locked, and ensure all chemicals are correctly labeled and stored according to prescribed infection control and isolation guidelines. This role also requires keen attention to detail in following cleaning protocols, especially for isolation rooms where infection control is critical. Reporting supply needs to supervisors and maintaining a proactive approach to equipment readiness ensures smooth day-to-day operations.
