Job Description

The Waterford is a vibrant community located at 601 Universe Blvd, Juno Beach, Florida. Part of Lifespace Communities, one of the nation’s largest non-profit senior living providers, The Waterford offers a warm and supportive environment for older adults looking to enjoy their retirement years with comfort and dignity. Lifespace has a rich history spanning over 40 years, dedicated to fostering communities where residents can live their aspirations, surrounded by compassionate care and state-of-the-art amenities. With headquarters in West Des Moines, Iowa and Dallas, Texas, Lifespace employs over 4,500 team members and serves more than 5,100 residents across various communities.

The Waterford is currently seeking team members for their Environmental Services department. This hourly role, offering a pay range of $15.00 to $19.15 per hour plus additional compensation, focuses on ensuring cleanliness and hygiene within resident homes and shared areas. The role is crucial in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for residents by delivering high standards of cleaning and disinfecting critical spaces such as washrooms, floors, and common rooms. The Environmental Services team works diligently to respect residents' belongings while organizing, cleaning, and storing items carefully. When residents transition out or move within the community, team members play an essential role in preparing rooms swiftly and efficiently for new occupants, contributing directly to operational excellence.

Safety and organization are key priorities for Environmental Services staff who must keep their work carts properly stocked, locked, and ensure all chemicals are correctly labeled and stored according to prescribed infection control and isolation guidelines. This role also requires keen attention to detail in following cleaning protocols, especially for isolation rooms where infection control is critical. Reporting supply needs to supervisors and maintaining a proactive approach to equipment readiness ensures smooth day-to-day operations.

No previous experience or formal education is required to join the Environmental Services team at The Waterford, making this position an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to learn, grow their skills, and contribute meaningfully in a supportive team environment. Lifespace’s commitment to professional development means employees have numerous opportunities to advance their careers while making a real difference in the lives of senior residents.

Joining The Waterford means becoming part of a purpose-driven organization where teamwork, personalized experiences, and community spirit are at the heart of everything. If you are motivated to live your purpose, grow your career, and thrive through collaboration, this role offers a fulfilling and rewarding path. Lifespace fosters an inclusive workplace culture and conducts background screenings as part of the hiring process, in compliance with Florida law to ensure safety and quality standards.

With Lifespace’s expansive network and dedication to creating vibrant living spaces for seniors, new team members can look forward to an enriching career journey filled with growth, support, and meaningful work that makes a difference every day.
