Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Capability to follow safety procedures including chemical handling
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to work in a team environment
Job Duties
- Possess a positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service and cleanliness to our guests
- Maintain a high level of professional appearance and demeanor, wearing brand-approved uniform and name tag
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality to ensure guest trust
- Demonstrate a professional sense of urgency while cleaning guest rooms and public spaces, consistently meeting budgeted cleaning goals
- Clean and stock all guest rooms as assigned, including changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning bathrooms and appliances
- Keep Head Housekeeper informed of room status in a timely manner
- Greet guests encountered throughout the property
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and sanitary guidelines
- Complete training in security, alcohol, health and safety
- Follow safe chemical handling procedures
- Keep workspace and equipment clean, organized and fully stocked
- Work systematically following step-by-step cleaning processes
- Inspect furniture, walls, carpets, and appliances, reporting deficiencies promptly
- Maintain open communication within the housekeeping department
- Participate in daily stand-up, housekeeping, and staff meetings
- Adhere to key control guidelines
- Assist in quarterly, seasonal, and annual deep cleaning
- Turn in lost and found items according to company procedures
- Assist in training new staff members
- Support a positive and enjoyable work environment
- Understand hotel products and services
- Perform other duties as assigned
