The current opportunity is for a Regular full-time Cleaning Technician position within St. Elizabeth Healthcare, where the scheduled working hours total 40 per week. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of both patient and non-patient areas within the hospital. Job Duties

  • Performs daily cleaning procedures in patient and non-patient areas to provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff
  • Completes detailed cleaning duties such as high dusting and cleaning of blinds on a weekly basis or upon discharge/transfer of a patient
  • Cleans, sanitizes and deodorizes restrooms to meet quality expectations
  • Removes trash from areas being cleaned to a central location for removal from the building
  • Attends in-service programs, meetings and completes Net Learning modules as required
  • Follows safety procedures to ensure safety for self and patients including proper lifting techniques
  • Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide services based on principles of growth and development
  • Performs other duties as assigned
