Located at 802 S Falkenburg Road in Tampa, Florida, this establishment is part of an award-winning chain praised for its friendly atmosphere and dedication to employee growth. Drury Hotels has been ranked among Newsweek's America's Greatest Workplaces 2025, underscoring its reputation as a top employer in the hospitality industry. This reputation is built on a foundation of strong company values that emphasize valuing people, promoting from within, and creating a family-like workplace culture. In addition to offering competitive pay, Drury Hotels provides comprehensive benefits, flexible scheduling, and numerous opportunities for career advancement, reflecting its dedication to its staff's well-being and development.
The hotel is currently hiring full-time and part-time housekeepers who play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms and public areas. The starting pay rate is $16.50 per hour, with quarterly bonus opportunities of up to $3,200 annually, based on hotel performance. Housekeepers at Drury Hotels contribute significantly to creating memorable moments for guests, ensuring rooms are cleaner than the competition and providing exceptional customer service. This role does not require previous cleaning experience, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start or grow their career in hospitality. Responsibilities include vacuuming, changing linens, sanitizing bathrooms, and assisting guests with requests such as supplying linens and amenities.
Employees enjoy a workplace culture that values work-life balance through flexible scheduling, paid time off, and hotel discounts including free room nights. Health and well-being are prioritized, with access to medical, dental, vision, prescription, life, and disability insurance as well as a Team Member Assistance Program. Additionally, Drury Hotels supports long-term financial security with a company-matched 401(k) retirement plan. The company is proud of its internal promotion culture, with over 60% of management positions filled by team members who started in hourly roles, illustrating the strong career growth potential available to housekeepers willing to learn and excel.
Joining the housekeeping team at Drury Hotels means becoming part of a dynamic, customer-focused environment where your contributions matter and you are recognized for your hard work. The hotel operates seven days a week, with busy weekends, so flexibility and a positive attitude are important. Housekeepers assist not only with cleaning duties but also with fostering a supportive workplace and enhancing guest satisfaction through attentive service. This role is physically demanding, requiring stamina to walk and stand throughout shifts and the ability to lift and move items up to 25 to 35 pounds. However, the supportive team atmosphere and comprehensive benefits make this position rewarding for the right candidate. If you are seeking a place to belong where your efforts are appreciated and your career can flourish, Drury Hotels is the ideal employer to consider.
