Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in estate or fine home housekeeping
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with some flexibility
- Excellent physical stamina and attention to detail
- Ability to handle delicate household items with care
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
Job Qualifications
- Experience as a career housekeeper in fine homes
- Excellent, verifiable references
- Knowledge of proper care protocols for antiques, artwork, crystal, fine china, silver, brass, marble, fine linens, and cookware
- Detail-driven with a natural eye for beauty, order, and presentation
- Warm, kind, and service-oriented while maintaining professional boundaries
- Emotional intelligence and ability to read the room
- Calm and discreet
- Proactive and able to anticipate family needs
Job Duties
- Perform daily and deep-cleaning cleaning tasks
- Perform laundry for the household, including washing, drying, steaming, pressing, folding, and sorting garments for multiple family members
- Maintain closets and storage spaces with a visually appealing organization
- Thoughtfully sequence daily and weekly tasks to ensure efficiency and minimal disruption
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve systems, products, and efficiency
