Job Requirements

high school degree or equivalent
six months of housekeeping or janitorial services preferred
availability on weekends, holidays, and mornings
physical ability to stand and walk constantly
ability to lift 50+ pounds and push/pull 100+ pounds
ability to follow safety and PPE guidelines
punctuality
strong communication skills

Job Qualifications

high school degree or equivalent preferred
six months of housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
ability to arrive on time when scheduled
ability to learn and enforce cleanliness standards with attention to detail
strong customer service orientation
good organization and time management skills
ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members
physical ability to move large objects and operate cleaning equipment
ability to work in a seven-day per week, 24-hour business environment

Job Duties

cleaning suites, rooms, and other areas as assigned including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, washing windows and tracks
using vacuum cleaners and shampooers to clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
wiping down counters, tables and other furniture
thoroughly cleaning bathrooms, showers, toilets, bathtubs, sinks, flooring, and countertops
removing all trash from rooms and emptying trash cans
reporting rooms as cleaned and available
replenishing or replacing supplies in rooms such as drinking glasses, linens, shower curtains, and bathroom items
maintaining maid cart with cleaning products and equipment
reporting and logging lost and found items
greeting guests promptly and politely
responding to guest requests and questions
providing customer service including information about hotel services and local attractions
returning items such as luggage carts and baby cribs to designated areas
reporting maintenance deficiencies, safety hazards, and accidents
following Personal Protective Equipment requirements and reporting defective or lost PPE
following all safety procedures and acting in emergency situations
maintaining a clean and professional appearance
maintaining a hospitable service atmosphere
