Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
- physically capable of performing cleaning duties including bending, twisting, stretching, repetitive motion, pushing, pulling
- ability to safely lift or move up to 25 pounds
- dependable and punctual
- ability to follow written cleaning procedures and schedules
- strong attention to detail
- willingness to learn and adapt
- ability to maintain resident confidentiality

- previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required

Job Duties
- Cleans resident rooms and apartments, bathing areas, lounges, offices, hallways, dining areas, recreational areas, public bathrooms, and other rooms as assigned and in compliance with established written procedures
- accomplish all work in the order of priority set by supervisor
- cleans and mops tile floors, vacuums, spot cleans carpeted areas and empties trash
- dusts and/or washes furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- maintains resident confidentiality
- cleans and sanitizes lavatories and toilet bowls inside and out
- performs and follows written cleaning procedures and schedules for common areas, resident apartments, and health center rooms
- keeps all equipment and storage areas clean and orderly
- transports linens and other equipment
- follows all written infection control procedures established by the community and performs other related duties as assigned
