Job Description

We are currently seeking a Room Attendant to join our dynamic hospitality team. This is an in-person, hourly position paying from $15.00 per hour. The Room Attendant will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our guest rooms and public areas. In this role, you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing rooms, changing linens, replenishing supplies, and performing floor care duties such as vacuuming and mopping. You will also conduct routine inspections for any maintenance issues or safety hazards and report these to ensure our premises are always safe and well-maintained.

Additionally, the Room Attendant will assist with deep cleaning tasks, including industrial cleaning techniques when necessary, to uphold hygiene standards that meet our high expectations. The role requires a proactive and detail-oriented approach, working efficiently both independently and as part of a team to deliver a spotless, welcoming atmosphere. Your efforts will contribute directly to guest satisfaction and loyalty by creating a comfortable and inviting space that guests appreciate.

This position demands physical stamina to handle extended periods of standing, bending, and lifting heavy objects while performing various cleaning tasks. Effective communication skills are also important for coordinating with team members and reporting any maintenance concerns promptly. Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is highly preferred, along with knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning.

Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning

  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced settings
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report maintenance issues
  • Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform cleaning tasks for extended periods
  • Experience with industrial cleaning or custodial management is a plus but not mandatory

Job Duties

  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, and common areas, following established protocols
  • Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries, towels, and amenities to ensure guest comfort
  • Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining cleanliness in hallways and public spaces
  • Conduct routine inspections of rooms for maintenance issues or safety hazards and report findings promptly
  • Assist with deep cleaning tasks including industrial cleaning techniques when necessary to uphold hygiene standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of hotel corridors, lobbies, elevators, and other shared spaces to promote a pristine environment
  • Follow all safety procedures related to custodial work and use of cleaning equipment to ensure a safe workplace
