Job Requirements
- Previous experience as a housekeeper in a private home
- Ability to care for fine furnishings and delicate materials
- Experience maintaining deep-cleaning schedules
- Skilled in organizing wardrobes, closets, and laundry
- Polished presentation and professional demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Willingness to assist with pet care
- Strong communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a housekeeper in a similar private home with verifiable references
- Strong appreciation for and experience caring for fine furnishings and materials including artwork, crystal, china, silver, brass, marble, and fine linens
- Ability to maintain deep-cleaning schedules and organize all areas of the home including wardrobes, closets, and laundry
- Pleasant demeanor and polished presentation
- Clear understanding of confidentiality
- Willingness to assist with pet care including preparing food for cats and cleaning litter boxes
- Clear and effective communication with family and household team
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of the entire home including daily and deep-cleaning tasks
- Properly care for and maintain all household items using appropriate techniques and supplies
- Handle laundry including ironing, steaming, and wardrobe maintenance
- Monitor household inventory and ensure supplies are fully stocked
- Receive deliveries and coordinate with household vendors
- Assist with travel preparations and packing/unpacking as requested
- Complete additional tasks and errands as needed to support the family
