Housekeepers act as the face of the Guest House by providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a positive attitude, and engaging cooperatively with guests and staff.
Working in an environment that requires physical activity such as bending, lifting (up to 50 pounds), reaching overhead, and twisting, this role calls for individuals who are physically capable and motivated. The position is entry-level, but candidates with six months of related experience are preferred, along with excellent human relations and effective communication skills. The University of Utah values employees who demonstrate potential and commitment to the essential job functions and actively supports veterans and individuals with disabilities through reasonable accommodations and inclusive policies.
Unique to the position is a strong emphasis on career progression and professional development opportunities, alongside a stable job offering within the university system.
