At the Marriott Nashville, a distinguished location within White Lodging’s portfolio, the Housekeeper position plays a pivotal role in maintaining the highest cleanliness and sanitation standards expected by our guests. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for cleaning and organizing guest accommodations, ensuring that every detail contributes to a positive guest experience. This includes managing linen and trash removal, sanitizing bathrooms, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and restocking necessary supplies efficiently. You will also be tasked with maintaining housekeeping carts and performing self-inspections to ensure compliance with the company’s exacting standards.

Job Requirements

  • Completion of training with certification sign-off
  • Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 10 lbs regularly and 25 lbs occasionally
  • Willingness to stand and move quickly for long periods
  • Flexibility to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays
  • Prior cleaning experience preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Provide the highest quality of service to guests by anticipating and exceeding their expectations
  • Ensure guest rooms and bathrooms are clean, sanitary, and sparkling
  • Strip dirty linen and trash, clean bathrooms, make beds, dust, vacuum, and restock rooms
  • Clean, organize, and restock the housekeeping cart
  • Self-inspect rooms and submit room status reports to Supervisor upon completion
  • Practice safety standards at all times and help maintain a safe property for guests and associates
  • Perform other duties as assigned
