Marriott International is a globally recognized leader in the hospitality industry, known for its commitment to exceptional guest experiences and innovative hotel services. With a diverse portfolio of brands, including Courtyard by Marriott, the company has established itself as a pioneer in creating tailored environments for various traveler needs, especially business travelers. Marriott International values diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity employment, fostering a workplace where associates from different cultural backgrounds and experiences feel valued and empowered. The company’s mission emphasizes personal and professional growth, encouraging team members to be their best selves while contributing to an outstanding guest service culture.

Courtyard by Marriott is specifically designed to cater to business travelers, offering a comfortable and efficient environment. Courtyard hotels strive to anticipate guests' needs and provide services that promote productivity and relaxation during their stay. Working at Courtyard means joining a dynamic team that values continuous improvement, teamwork, and a passion for excellence.

The available role within the Courtyard brand involves performing scheduled preventative maintenance and general upkeep in guest rooms, meeting rooms, and public spaces. This position is critical in ensuring that all rooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Employees must follow all company safety and security policies, participate in safety training, and uphold Marriott's standards of professional appearance and conduct. A key part of the job is interacting with guests in a friendly and helpful manner, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere throughout their stay. The position demands physical stamina, as it involves lifting objects up to and exceeding 50 pounds, bending, pulling, and standing for extended periods.

This is an entry-level role suitable for individuals with less than one year of related experience and requiring a high school diploma or GED. While supervisory experience or certifications are not required, candidates should be eager to learn and grow within the Marriott International family. The role offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to a renowned global brand while developing skills in hospitality maintenance and guest service. By joining Courtyard, employees become part of a supportive and ambitious team dedicated to delivering superior guest experiences and fostering a positive workplace culture.
