The role being offered is for a Housekeeping Attendant, an essential position responsible for maintaining clean and comfortable guest rooms. The Housekeeping Attendant will perform routine cleaning duties following established procedures, handle laundry and cleaning supplies, and ensure all guest rooms meet stringent cleanliness standards daily. Job Requirements

  • Must be physically fit and have the ability to bend, stoop and lift
  • must be able to work independently with little supervision
  • must be able to work with industrial laundry equipment, cleaning equipment and cleaning chemicals
  • valid driver’s license if applicable
  • proof of insurance if applicable
  • ability to pass as approved driver if applicable
  • willingness to comply with hotel rules and regulations
  • ability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • good physical stamina to perform job duties

Job Duties

  • Pick up room reports and keys to assigned areas daily
  • sign out and sign in keys at the start and end of shifts
  • collect assigned cart and supplies from laundry area
  • minimize noise in guest room areas
  • prioritize check-outs except in special requests
  • report rooms marked Do Not Disturb for approval
  • change sheets in every room daily unless otherwise specified
  • clean rooms according to procedures
  • return cart to linen room at shift end
  • comply with all reasonable management requests
  • be flexible with work schedule
  • report to work on time and in proper uniform with name tag
  • stay knowledgeable about daily hotel operations
  • be aware of guest service scores and understand guest needs
  • adhere to hotel policies, procedures, and standards
  • know emergency procedures and act accordingly
  • report unusual occurrences or requests
  • assist fellow associates to improve operations
  • perform other duties as assigned
  • maintain valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and pass as approved driver if applicable
