Currently, Legend Senior Living is seeking dedicated and diligent individuals to join their maintenance team as Housekeepers. This full-time position plays a vital role in ensuring the overall cleanliness, comfort, and well-being of residents by maintaining both their private apartments and the communal areas within the community. The Housekeeper is responsible for keeping resident rooms and common areas spotless by performing tasks such as making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting surfaces, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, and removing trash. This role goes beyond basic cleaning, requiring meticulous attention to detail and a genuine pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Housekeepers at Legend Senior Living also manage their housekeeping carts by ensuring they are clean, well-stocked, and properly organized, which enables efficient daily operations. Job Requirements

  • Experience in a similar position is preferred but not required
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Drug-free workplace compliance including passing drug screening
  • Physical capability to perform cleaning duties
  • Reliable and punctual attendance
  • Ability to follow safety and hygiene protocols
  • Willingness to assist with varied housekeeping tasks

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Cleaning resident rooms and common areas to include making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
  • Maintaining the housekeeping cart by keeping it clean, stocked and labeled
  • Assisting with related duties as needed, such as laundry or spill cleanup
  • Participating in employee referrals process
  • Engaging in resident tours for move-in assistance
  • Upholding company standards for cleanliness and safety
  • Supporting vibrant life enrichment activities
