This exciting full-time opportunity is for a Housekeeper at The Mather, a critical role contributing to the community's overall environment by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with weekends required as needed. Beyond traditional housekeeping responsibilities, the role extends to providing personalized resident interaction aimed at supporting a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere within residents' apartments and communal spaces. The ideal candidate will play a vital part in not only sustaining cleanliness but also enhancing the residents' living experience through attentive service.

The Housekeeper will be responsible for setting and resetting rooms for diverse programs and events, handling furniture and audiovisual equipment to ensure functional and aesthetic readiness of spaces. Essential functions include assisting residents with lockouts, conducting well-being checks, and responding promptly to resident needs to guarantee their safety and satisfaction. The role involves coordination via Microsoft Outlook and work order software systems to manage room reservations and support requests efficiently, ensuring smooth operation of the community's various departments.

In addition to regular cleaning and maintenance duties, the Housekeeper may deliver items and packages, including personalized deliveries such as birthday balloons and cards, enhancing the community's sense of warmth and personal connection. The position also serves as backup support for concierge staff during breaks or unforeseen absences, requiring flexibility and a readiness to step into varying responsibilities. Special events support, including audiovisual setups for movies, virtual meetings, and presentations, is also an integral part of this role, contributing to the vibrant social and community life at The Mather.

The hourly wage range is competitive, from $19.75 to $21.00 USD, reflective of the candidate's experience, certifications, and skills, with full eligibility for Mather’s comprehensive benefit plans and employee appreciation fund.
