Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalency preferred
previous custodial experience preferred
ability to lift 50 lbs following safety procedures
ability to work in upright standing position for long periods
ability to crawl in tight spaces
ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
ability to walk and climb stairs
ability to handle and use equipment
ability to reach with hands and arms
ability to quickly navigate property/building
ability to respond to emergencies
ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 3 ft

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalency preferred
previous custodial experience preferred
multiple language fluency is desirable
strong customer service skills
strong communication skills
strong interpersonal skills

Job Duties

performs a variety of cleaning/maintenance duties including sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, replacing light bulbs and window cleaning
informs supervisor of needed supplies
maintains all cleaning solutions according to OSHA requirements
removes trash from premises and assists in emergency cleaning
properly utilizes new equipment and follows safety procedures
maintains friendly and professional attitude
inspects all assigned areas daily and reports discrepancies to supervisor
ensures security and safety procedures are followed
completes daily work orders as scheduled
maintains cleaning supplies
cleans restrooms including sweeping, mopping floors, refilling dispensers, cleaning toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, counters, and empties trash
reports discrepancies or deficiencies to supervisor
