Job Description

Sares Regis Group (SRG), based in Newport Beach, California, is a prominent privately held real estate development, investment, and management firm specializing in commercial properties and multifamily communities across the western United States. Since its inception in 1993, SRG has achieved significant milestones, having developed and acquired over $7 billion worth of commercial and residential assets. The company oversees a vast portfolio comprising approximately 25 million square feet of office and industrial spaces alongside 20,500 apartment units. This extensive portfolio showcases SRG's strong presence and commitment to excellence within the real estate industry.

The role of a Housekeeper at SRG is an essential position located at the Capitol Yards community in West Sacramento, California. This 270-unit community provides a vibrant environment where the Housekeeper will contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming living space for all residents. The employment type is full-time, with required working hours from Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Compensation is competitive, offering an hourly rate ranging from $20.00 to $22.00. Additionally, SRG provides a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) matching, rental incentives, renewal compensation, bonuses, and rental discounts based on location.

This position is ideal for individuals seeking to grow their careers within the property management sector. The Housekeeper’s daily duties involve general housekeeping tasks and grounds maintenance, ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the community. Responsibilities include cleaning and tidying indoor and outdoor areas, keeping sidewalks free from trash, debris, snow, and ice, and promptly reporting safety hazards or repair needs to supervisors. The role demands a proactive and customer-focused approach to service, upholding the high standards expected by SRG.

Candidates must possess excellent customer service skills and demonstrate a commitment to safety and operational excellence. The role requires physical ability to lift heavy items and the capability to understand and responsibly use cleaning solutions and equipment as per instructions. Furthermore, clear communication skills are necessary to interpret simple instructions, write basic correspondence, and maintain effective reporting.

SRG values and supports its employees by offering a work environment that encourages growth and acknowledges contributions with a solid compensation and benefits package. Employees working 30 to 40 hours weekly are eligible for medical, dental, vision care, and other voluntary benefits along with vacation accrual and sick leave in line with legal requirements. The company fosters an inclusive workplace, being an equal opportunity employer, and all hires are contingent upon successful background screening and drug testing.

This opportunity not only permits candidates to become part of a reputable and established company but also to work within a beautifully maintained residential community where their efforts directly enhance resident satisfaction and community wellbeing.
