Job Description
Dial is a dedicated senior living community focused on providing a warm and supportive environment for its residents. This establishment prides itself on creating a place where team members can truly love the way they work, serving as a vital part of a compassionate community that values learning, growth, and meaningful connections with seniors. Dial fosters a family-like atmosphere where residents feel cared for and valued, making the workplace not just a job but a rewarding experience. Employees at Dial are given the unique opportunity to engage with knowledgeable seniors, enriching their professional and personal lives.
The role available is a full-time housekeeping position, predominantly during the day, with some Saturday work required. This position plays an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the living environment for the residents. As a housekeeper at Dial, you will be responsible for cleaning various areas, including public spaces and individual apartments, ensuring that the facility is always welcoming and well-maintained. Responsibilities include routine cleaning of common areas and restrooms, managing stain removal, conducting deep cleaning of vacated apartments, and supporting occasional exterior window washing. You will also play a crucial part in supporting resident comfort and safety by promptly responding to resident and staff requests, reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns, and ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive information.
This position supports the overall mission of Dial by helping to provide not just years to residents' lives, but life to their years. The role involves teamwork with other staff members, attending staff meetings and in-service trainings, and assisting with meal service duties as needed. It requires physical activity such as lifting arms to clean windows and shelves, and the ability to work efficiently and independently. Essential to success in this role is a positive attitude towards learning, helping others, and working with older adults. Experience in cleaning occupied apartments, hotels, or similar long-term care settings is highly valued.
Joining Dial means contributing to a community where every staff member's role directly impacts the quality of life of seniors every day. It also offers the chance to develop skills related to cleanliness, safety, teamwork, and resident care within a supportive and friendly environment. This job is ideal for anyone who desires a meaningful career making a real difference in the lives of older adults and who enjoys working during the daytime hours with occasional Saturdays.
Employment details specify a full-time role with daytime hours primarily, highlighting a balance of work and personal life while committing to the needs of the community. Dial is known for its supportive culture that values diversity and inclusion, encourages continuous learning, and fosters mutual respect among its team. Working here means becoming part of a team dedicated to enhancing the experience of each resident through attentive service, a clean environment, and compassionate care.
