Job Description

Dial is a dedicated senior living community committed to enhancing the lives of its residents by providing a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment. As a well-established facility, Dial prides itself on fostering a culture where both residents and staff thrive, emphasizing respect, compassion, and teamwork. The organization recognizes the importance of balancing professional responsibilities with personal development, providing its team members with opportunities to grow and learn from experienced seniors and colleagues. Working at Dial means becoming part of a family that values each individual's contributions and genuinely cares about making a positive impact in the lives of older adults. This commitment extends beyond basic caregiving, focusing on enriching the quality of life for every resident by adding life to their years, not just years to their life.

The role available is for a full-time Housekeeper who will work primarily during the day, with the occasional Saturday shift required. This position is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of both public and individual residential areas within the community. The Housekeeper will be responsible for ensuring that all assigned areas meet the highest standards of hygiene and comfort, contributing significantly to the overall resident experience. Duties include cleaning common areas, restrooms, and windows, as well as deep cleaning vacated apartments in preparation for new residents. The role also involves assisting with some meal service and promptly responding to residents and staff requests, emphasizing a resident-centered approach that supports a safe and pleasant living environment.

Employees in this role will receive comprehensive orientation and ongoing support to ensure success in their duties. The position offers the chance to work in a supportive team environment where cooperation and mutual respect are fundamental values. As part of the job, individuals will attend regular staff meetings and training sessions to stay informed of best practices and new procedures. The Housekeeper position at Dial is an opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents, contribute to a caring community, and develop valuable skills in the hospitality and long-term care sector. This is a fulfilling role for those who take pride in their work and want to play a vital part in improving the daily lives of seniors.
