Job Description

Wallick Senior Living is a leading organization dedicated to providing high-quality senior living communities where residents can enjoy their golden years with dignity, independence, and care. The Ashford of Mt. Washington is one of the many communities under the Wallick Senior Living umbrella, offering a comfortable, supportive environment for seniors. Established with a mission that goes beyond simple care, Wallick Senior Living emphasizes creating homes filled with joy, opportunity, and hope for both its residents and employees. With over 1,000 employee-owners, the company fosters a collaborative culture where every team member is valued and plays a critical role in making a meaningful impact in the community. Wallick Senior Living is also a 100% employee-owned company, which means that employees share in the company’s profitability, contributing to their financial future as they contribute to supporting residents.

At Wallick Senior Living, incentives, career growth, and employee benefits are top priorities. Employees enjoy competitive pay with a current rate of $16.00 per hour and receive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance that take effect within two weeks of employment. Additional perks include gym membership reimbursement, paid parental leave, 401(k) plans with company contributions, and a flexible work-life balance with paid time off. Wallick Senior Living values a supportive culture where staff work together in a team-oriented setting, building lasting relationships and impacting the lives of seniors positively.

The Housekeeper role at The Ashford of Mt. Washington is a full-time position that plays an essential role in maintaining a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for residents and staff. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for day-to-day housekeeping functions including cleaning common areas and resident rooms, setting up safety and caution signs appropriately, and ensuring all equipment, tools, and supplies are stored correctly. Additionally, the role includes assisting with laundry duties and keeping supervisors informed about supply needs. This position demands attention to detail, basic decision-making skills within the department, and the ability to work cooperatively with residents, families, and colleagues.

Working as a housekeeper at Wallick Senior Living means becoming part of a mission-driven team focused on compassion, respect, and care for others. The organization believes in providing more than just a job – it offers a calling that brings personal fulfillment by helping others maintain their independence and quality of life. Wallick also prioritizes diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging to create a workplace where every associate feels empowered to be their authentic selves. For nearly 60 years, Wallick Senior Living has cultivated an environment that is safe, inclusive, and respectful, guaranteeing equal employment opportunities regardless of background or personal characteristics.

If you are someone who takes pride in cleanliness, enjoys working in a team, and wants to contribute meaningfully to the lives of seniors, this role offers a path to professional growth and employee ownership in a respected community. Employment with Wallick is contingent on passing a background check and drug screening. By joining Wallick Senior Living, you not only gain a stable and rewarding career but also the chance to be part of a legacy dedicated to opening doors to homes, opportunities, and hope for generations to come.
