Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must pass a 7-year background check
- Must pass a drug test
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for prolonged periods
- Willingness to work assigned shifts including overnight hours
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and proper usage
- Strong attention to detail
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Willingness to work overnight shifts
- Reliable transportation
Job Duties
- Clean various flooring surfaces including vacuuming with a push vacuum or backpack vacuum
- Sweep, mop, and scrub in an industrial or warehouse setting
- Gather and dispose of cardboard, packing materials, wood from designated bins
- Sanitize restrooms including sinks, toilets, urinals, floors
- Dust and wipe down office furniture, equipment, baseboards, windows, blinds
- Clean and disinfect breakrooms including countertops, microwaves, refrigerators, tables, chairs, floors
- Restock supplies and refill dispensers in restrooms, breakrooms, common areas
- Empty trash cans and replace liners
- Ensure proper labeling and use of cleaning chemicals
- Maintain janitorial equipment
- Operate specialized equipment such as augers, balers, waste compactors
- Report irregularities and inform violators of policies
- Abide by Sizemore's and client’s policies and procedures
- Perform other assigned tasks as required
