The available position at St Joseph's Health is a full-time Cleaning Specialist role, focused primarily on maintaining sanitary conditions across various designated areas within the hospital environment. This role demands a dedicated individual who is committed to the hospital’s mission of providing a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, and visitors alike. The working hours are scheduled from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, incorporating every other weekend and holiday, which requires flexibility and a strong work ethic. In this position, the Cleaning Specialist plays a crucial part in patient care by maintaining high standards of cleanliness in patient care areas, non-patient zones, and common spaces. The role extends beyond cleaning duties to supporting hospital-wide goals and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards as a condition of employment. The candidate must be proficient with a range of cleaning equipment, including automatic floor machines, burnishers, scrubbers, and carpet cleaning units, all within an industrial and occasionally clinical setting. This job offers a salary range from $16.20 to $23.50 per hour, reflecting the candidate’s experience, skills, and education level.
