The Housekeeper position is vital in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and comfort that our guests and owners expect. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for essential housekeeping duties such as making beds, replenishing linens, arranging towels, restocking supplies, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning both guest rooms and public halls. Your role is crucial in ensuring all rooms are cared for and inspected meticulously according to established standards, maintaining a welcoming environment for everyone who visits.

Effective communication is a key part of this role. You will work closely with dispatch, fellow team members, and guests, contributing to a seamless and enjoyable guest experience. Reporting any damage, deficits, or disturbances to supervisors promptly helps maintain the operational excellence of the resort. Handling guest complaints and requests with professionalism and patience reflects our commitment to superior customer service.

Housekeeping also involves maintaining our tools and equipment to the highest standard and managing inventory of supplies used in daily operations. These responsibilities require strong organizational and time management skills, alongside a proactive approach to work. Previous experience in a similar housekeeping or cleaning role is essential, as is the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Customer service experience is highly valued, reflecting the importance of guest satisfaction in every aspect of your duties.

Job Duties

  • Provide essential housekeeping duties including making beds, replenishing linens, changing and arranging towels, restocking toilet supplies, dusting, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming
  • Friendly and effective communication with dispatch, team members, and guests to ensure happiness of guests and owners
  • Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
  • Notify superiors of any damage, deficits, and disturbances
  • Deal with reasonable complaints and requests with professionalism and patience
  • Ensure appropriate maintenance of all housekeeping equipment and tools
