The team at Spectrum understands that aging is a chapter filled with opportunities and meaningful connections, and they strive to offer an atmosphere that honors this journey.
Spectrum Retirement Communities is currently seeking a dependable and conscientious Housekeeper to join their team. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of the community, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for all residents and visitors. The position offers a starting salary of $16.00 per hour and follows a consistent schedule from Sunday through Thursday, 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM. This schedule allows for a balanced work-life arrangement ideal for individuals who value stability.
As a Housekeeper at Spectrum Retirement Communities, your primary responsibilities will include providing thorough housekeeping services for residents, which involves cleaning and upkeep of private living spaces. Additionally, you will be tasked with maintaining cleanliness in the public areas of the community, ensuring that shared spaces reflect the high standards of the organization. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will interact regularly with residents, their families, and fellow team members, helping to foster a supportive and respectful environment.
Candidates who succeed in this position are expected to bring at least one year of experience in a housekeeping capacity, whether in a private home, hotel, or comparable setting. A commitment to professionalism, organization, and strong customer service skills are critical. Additionally, the role supports Spectrum's dedication to health and safety, encouraging vaccination against COVID-19, although it is not mandatory.
Joining Spectrum Retirement Communities means becoming part of a team that values diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity. The organization does not discriminate based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic and participates in the E-verify program to ensure employment eligibility. Full-time team members have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options, alongside participation in the company 401(k) plan, paid time off, holiday pay, daily pay options, and discounts through Perk Spot. This role represents an excellent opportunity to contribute to a meaningful mission while advancing your career in a supportive and engaging workplace.
