Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent preferred
- four to six months housekeeping experience or training preferred but not required
- ability to understand, read, write and speak basic English
- excellent customer service skills

- ability to stand, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, lift up to 50 pounds

Job Duties
- Sorts linens and carries them to required areas
- cleans guest rooms including changing linens, making beds, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, polishing furniture and fixtures
- replenishes supplies such as drinking glasses and writing materials
- cleans corridors and stairways
- sweeps and scrubs bathroom floors
- cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
- dusts furniture
- washes walls and woodwork
- washes windows, door panels, and sills
- empties wastebaskets and cleans ashtrays
- transports trash and waste to disposal area
- replenishes bathroom supplies
- replaces light bulbs
- scrubs bathroom vanity, toilet, mirrors, walls and bathroom fan
- completes quality check on television, telephone, AC, and smoke detectors
- removes items left behind and manages lost and found procedure
- reports maintenance issues to appropriate department
- displays organization skills when stocking cart
- responds timely to housekeeping supply requests
- greets each guest pleasantly using their name
- checks vacant room status daily
- maintains clean and organized supply room
- assists co-workers and displays team attitude
