The Housekeeper role at Asset Living is a critical position responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall condition of the apartment community’s public facilities, common areas, and grounds. This position directly contributes to ensuring that residents enjoy a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Reporting to the Community Manager, the Housekeeper plays a vital role in the make-ready cleaning process for units prior to move-in, upholding the company’s operational standards. This employment opportunity is full-time, offering an hourly salary of $16.50. The position is designed for individuals who are dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about customer service.

Key responsibilities include daily attendance and upkeep of community spaces, timely response to resident and management requests, and adherence to company policies such as Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. The Housekeeper not only performs essential cleaning duties but also represents the property to residents and visitors, projecting a positive image of the community. Candidates must be physically capable of performing various tasks, including lifting up to 25 pounds, working in diverse weather conditions, and operating relevant equipment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or one year’s experience in the housing industry
  • Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements

Job Duties

  • Community housekeeping
  • Regular/daily onsite attendance is required
  • Responsible for general cleaning and trash removal of grounds and residential areas, including make-ready units and common areas
  • Responsible for cleaning and preparing vacant units for move-in
  • Responsible for cleaning and upkeep daily of community’s offices, amenities, etc.
  • Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner
  • Responsible for understanding and following Asset key policy
  • Report any observed violations of community rules and regulations to the Community Manager
  • Utilize property resources, equipment and supplies economically
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities requested by Community Manager
  • Manage excellent customer service and monitor service request turnaround and responsiveness
  • Project a favorable image of the community to achieve property objectives and public recognition
  • Ensure consistency in dealing with residents on all matters
  • Enforce policies of the community that the immediate supervisor delegates
