This opportunity is with a distinguished hospitality establishment dedicated to providing exceptional guest experiences through meticulous attention to room cleanliness and comfort. As a reputable entity in the hospitality industry, the company is committed to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and aesthetic appeal in all guest accommodations. The organization values a dedicated and detail-oriented team that ensures every guest room is impeccably prepared according to established policies and standards. This full-time position plays a critical role in upholding the brand's reputation by delivering consistent, high-quality room maintenance and housekeeping services.
The role of a Guest Room Attendant is pivotal in creating a welcoming and immaculate environment for guests. Responsibilities include daily changing of bed linens, thorough vacuuming of carpeting, and dusting of all furniture items including picture frames, bed frames, lamps, TVs, and dressers. Attention to detail is essential as the role also involves removing fingerprints and smudges from mirrors, shiny surfaces, and windows to ensure rooms appear pristine. The bathroom areas require comprehensive cleaning, including washing the shower stall, sink, floor, and toilet to maintain sanitary conditions. Adherence to the standard room set-up is mandatory to meet the company’s aesthetic and functional requirements.
In addition to cleaning duties, the Guest Room Attendant must promptly report any damages, missing items, or personal guest belongings found in vacant rooms to the Executive Housekeeper. They are also responsible for managing the passkey, ensuring it is securely handled and turned in daily. Handling lost and found items with integrity by immediately turning them over to the appropriate authority is a crucial part of the job. Effective communication with the Executive Housekeeper is necessary to report issues such as no luggage, no service needed, sleep outs, extra guests, or any unusual situations in rooms.
Environmental responsibility is part of this role’s duties, including turning off all lights, TVs, and air conditioners when leaving a room to conserve energy. The candidate will also assist fellow housekeepers with additional cleaning tasks as assigned and perform any relevant duties inherent to the position. This position demands a cooperative and prompt response to supervisory and corporate requests, ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. The full-time nature of this role offers stability and the opportunity to grow within a professional hospitality environment committed to excellence.
