Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience in healthcare or long-term care preferred

Job Qualifications

Ability to follow directions and work independently
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment
Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

Job Duties

Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to facility protocols
Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors and surfaces
Dispose of trash, linens, and medical waste according to infection control and safety guidelines
Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any malfunctions or shortages
Follow infection prevention and safety policies at all times
Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from staff or residents
Support a positive and respectful environment for residents, visitors, and staff
