Job Description

Bellevue Post-Acute is a leading healthcare facility dedicated to providing skilled nursing care within a modern, supportive, and welcoming environment. Located conveniently with easy access to Seattle, Bellevue Post-Acute emphasizes creating a safe space where residents can feel comfortable, cared for, and respected. The facility thrives on a foundation of compassion, respect, and excellence, and it is embedded in a community that values growth and wellbeing. Recognized for delivering exceptional nursing care, Bellevue Post-Acute is committed to its belief that "Great Care Starts with Great People" and embodies the philosophy "Together, We Thrive." The environment here supports not only residents but also employees, fostering a positive, professional atmosphere where teamwork and dedication help to maintain superior standards of health care and quality of life.

The role of Housekeeper at Bellevue Post-Acute is integral to maintaining this high standard of care and environment. This position is responsible for ensuring that all areas of the facility remain clean, sanitary, and safe, directly contributing to infection prevention and the comfort of residents. The Housekeeper plays a vital part in creating a professional and welcoming atmosphere throughout the facility by performing various cleaning and maintenance duties. Reporting directly to the Environmental Services Supervisor or designated department lead, this role demands a strong commitment to attention to detail, reliability, and a focus on safety and infection control.

As the Housekeeper, you will be charged with cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas in strict compliance with facility protocols. Tasks include dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, polishing floors and other surfaces, and proper disposal of trash, linens, and medical waste with adherence to infection control guidelines. Maintaining cleaning supplies and reporting any shortages or malfunctions of equipment is also part of the responsibilities. The Housekeeper must respond promptly to requests for housekeeping services from staff or residents, support a respectful and positive environment, and uphold the facility’s policies on infection prevention and safety at all times.

This is an opportunity to join a dedicated and compassionate team in a role that supports the overall mission of Bellevue Post-Acute. Candidates who are reliable, physically capable, and have prior experience or a keen interest in healthcare cleaning standards will find this position rewarding. The facility prefers candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent, along with prior housekeeping or cleaning experience in healthcare or long-term care settings, but is open to supporting motivated individuals eager to contribute to an exemplary care environment. Bellevue Post-Acute encourages applicants who seek to be part of a community-oriented team, devoted to excellence and compassionate service.
