Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties
- Adherence to safety protocols
- Ability to work part-time or per diem including weekends and evenings
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a healthcare or similar environment preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned
- Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments
- Clean and polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units in resident and recreational areas
- Clean, wash, sanitize, and/or polish bathroom fixtures ensuring water marks are removed
- Clean windows and mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms, and entrance/exit ways
- Clean floors including sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting
- Ensure appropriate caution/safety signs are set up prior to duties
- Clean carpets including vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, disinfecting
- Clean walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, deodorizing
- Remove dirt, dust, grease, film from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions
- Clean hallways, stairways, elevators
- Discard waste/trash into proper containers and reline trash receptacle with plastic liner
- Clean vacant rooms as assigned
