Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred
ability to follow instructions carefully
physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
willingness to cross-train in laundry duties
dependable and punctual
good communication skills

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalent
experience in housekeeping or custodial services preferred
ability to follow written and oral instructions
good interpersonal and communication skills
ability to work independently and as part of a team
knowledge of cleaning and disinfecting techniques
understanding of safety procedures and regulations

Job Duties

perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned
cross train to back up laundry department when needed
perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments
ensure that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive manor
adhere to all current regulations governing nursing facilities
develop a friendly, helpful rapport with residents
maintain the confidentiality and rights of all residents
