The Housekeeper role at Arch Amenities Group’s fitness department is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to contribute to a wellness-driven and hospitality-focused environment. Reporting to the Operations Manager and Fitness Director, the Housekeeper plays a vital role in creating an outstanding member experience by maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the facility. This non-exempt position centers around ensuring the fitness center remains a welcoming, safe, and hygienic environment conducive to effective workouts and member satisfaction. The Housekeeper’s duties include cleaning and dusting all areas, keeping exercise equipment sanitized, managing laundry tasks such as washing and folding towels, and actively engaging members during their visits to assist and promote a comfortable atmosphere. Success in this role requires attention to detail, strong work ethics, and the ability to work both independently and as part of the team. Furthermore, familiarity with the proper use of cleaning chemicals and adherence to operational guidelines are essential to ensure all maintenance activities meet Arch’s high standards.

Beyond the operational tasks, this role also entails ownership of assigned responsibilities, attending department meetings, and maintaining flexibility to adapt the cleaning schedule according to changing daily needs. The ideal candidate will be creative in methods to enhance efficiency, reliable in punctuality, and physically capable of meeting the job’s demands such as lifting, moving furniture, and completing active cleaning duties. Experience in cleaning environments, particularly in health or fitness clubs, is highly preferred.
