The firm boasts an impressive portfolio that includes over $7 billion in developed and acquired commercial and residential assets. Currently, SRG manages approximately 25 million square feet of office and industrial space alongside 20,500 apartment units, making it a significant name in property management and real estate development.
SRG's success stems from its strategic vision, commitment to quality, and focus on sustainable growth within the real estate sector. The company’s vast experience and expertise give it a strong foundation to foster thriving communities that enhance residents' lifestyles and provide commercial tenants with high-performing properties. With a way forward committed to innovation, sustainable development, and excellent service, SRG continues to lead the market with integrity and vision.
The current opportunity is for the role of a Housekeeper at Capitol Yards, SRG’s beautiful 270-unit residential community located in West Sacramento, California. This full-time role requires working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. It presents an excellent career advancement opportunity for individuals eager to grow within the property management industry. The Housekeeper will be a vital part of the community maintenance team, responsible for performing general housekeeping duties and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the property’s grounds.
The role involves ensuring that sidewalks and outdoor areas are clear of trash, debris, snow, and ice to maintain a safe and inviting environment for residents and visitors. The Housekeeper is expected to identify and report any potential safety risks or repair concerns to supervisory staff promptly, contributing to the community's overall safety and upkeep. Having excellent customer service skills is crucial, as the position involves regular interactions within the community and team members.
Candidates should have at least a high school diploma or GED, along with a minimum of two months of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and work history. The ability to lift heavy items and comprehend cleaning solution instructions is essential. This role requires physical capability alongside attention to detail, safety consciousness, and basic communication skills like reading and writing simple correspondence. Availability for weekend or overtime shifts, if approved or necessary, is also expected.
The offered compensation ranges from $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, reflective of experience and performance. SRG provides a competitive benefits package, including a 401(k) plan with company match, rental incentives and renewal compensation, bonus opportunities, and rental discounts based on location. Full-time employees working between 30 to 40 hours per week gain access to comprehensive medical, dental, vision insurance, and other voluntary benefits. Vacation accrual and sick leave are provided according to applicable laws, supporting employee wellbeing and work-life balance.
Candidates are encouraged to apply online via the Sares Regis careers website. The company is an equal opportunity employer, emphasizing a safe and inclusive workplace environment. All hires are contingent upon successful background screening and drug testing, underscoring SRG’s commitment to workplace integrity and safety. This position offers a meaningful opportunity for motivated individuals to join a reputable leader in the real estate and property management industry and contribute positively to a vibrant residential community.
