Job Description
Recovery Centers of America (RCA) is a renowned addiction treatment provider committed to saving one million lives from the disease of addiction. Established with a passionate mission in 2013, RCA has expanded to over 11 facilities nationwide, offering comprehensive evidence-based inpatient, outpatient, and medication-assisted treatment programs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. RCA understands that addiction treatment is not a one-size-fits-all approach. The organization customizes each patient's care plan to address individual needs, including specialized programs for trauma survivors, patients with multiple recurrences, older adults, first responders, and more. The core philosophy at RCA focuses on the power of local treatment, recognizing the essential role families play in both treatment and long-term recovery. The family program is designed to rebuild, restore, or strengthen relationships that contribute to the healing process.
RCA's approach combines clinical expertise with compassionate care and resources specifically developed to help patients not only achieve recovery but maintain it for life. Current and prospective employees are integral to delivering this specialized care, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those seeking sobriety and wellness.
The role of Grounds Monitor at RCA is a vital part of creating a therapeutic and supportive environment conducive to patient recovery. This position is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and comfort of the facility grounds and patient areas. More than just maintenance, the Grounds Monitor plays a crucial role in making the treatment center feel like home, which supports patients' emotional and physical well-being. The job involves wearing multiple hats—from light cleaning duties such as making beds and emptying trash, to maintaining equipment and assisting with linen management. By helping to keep the environment safe, orderly, and comfortable, Grounds Monitors contribute directly to the recovery process and overall patient satisfaction.
In this role, excellent customer service and good communication skills are essential competencies, as employees interact with patients and team members daily. The position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, compassionate environment that values each staff member's contribution toward overcoming addiction. With most tasks performed within a patient facility setting, employees should be comfortable working in an environment where the noise level varies and physical activity is part of daily duties. RCA values hard work, dedication, and a passion for making a difference. If you are seeking a life-changing job with purpose, becoming a Grounds Monitor at RCA means joining an extraordinary team committed to transforming lives through recovery.
