We focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the community's interior spaces, as well as ensuring that individual resident apartments meet the highest levels of sanitation and care. The Housekeeper plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the community, including both common areas and residents' private apartments. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work, have strong organizational skills, and enjoy serving others. The successful candidate will be responsible not only for routine cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing various areas, but also for more detailed responsibilities like checking and cleaning heating filters, laundering linens, and deep cleaning apartments as needed. In addition, the housekeeper will provide courteous service when assisting residents during meal times by serving beverages, taking meal orders, and helping with food service duties. This combination of housekeeping and service responsibilities requires a versatile, attentive individual with excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of sanitation and food safety practices.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- basic computer proficiency
- ability to follow sanitation and safety guidelines
- physically able to perform housekeeping tasks
- reliable and punctual

Job Duties
- Provide general housekeeping for community and individual apartments
- vacuum, dust, and clean common areas and apartments
- clean and defrost refrigerators as needed
- check and clean heat system filters
- change bed linens and ensure adequate linen supplies
- turn mattresses with assistance
- empty waste baskets
- provide deep cleaning of apartments
- launder linens using provided facilities
- follow sanitation and safety procedures
- greet residents and guests with a smile
- serve beverages, cereals, soups, and salads
- review menu items and take resident orders
- serve meals and desserts
- return carts to kitchen and assist with perishable items storage
- deliver trays to resident rooms if needed
- bus and clear dishes after meals
- reset tables and chairs according to sanitizing guidelines
- vacuum carpets
- complete side work such as replenishing sugar holders and cleaning coffeemaker
- perform other duties as assigned
