Job Description

Equity Lifestyle Properties (ELS) is a distinguished leader in the management of manufactured home communities, recreational vehicle resorts, and campgrounds across the United States and Canada. With a culture of recognition and a reputation for excellence, ELS stands out as the ideal organization to build a long and rewarding career. ELS is known for fostering an inclusive environment that values teamwork, professional growth, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Their commitment to excellence is reflected in every facet of their operations, ensuring their resorts offer comfort, cleanliness, and leisure in settings designed to meet the highest standards. The company’s sustained growth and industry leadership create ample opportunities for dedicated employees to thrive and advance within the organization.

ELS is currently hiring for the position of Housekeeper at one of its resorts located in Advance, North Carolina. This role is an essential part of the resort operations team, focused on maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the property to ensure guests enjoy a five-star experience throughout their stay. Housekeepers at ELS play a crucial part in upholding the company’s standards of quality, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service.

As a Housekeeper, your responsibilities will include cleaning and maintaining various areas of the resort such as the office, clubhouse, public access spaces, and rental cabins. Your efforts directly contribute to a welcoming, presentable environment that resonates with the company’s commitment to guest satisfaction and operational excellence. The role also involves tracking cleaning supply inventory, assisting with resort guest activities, handling basic guest service inquiries, and supporting maintenance staff as needed. Housekeepers may also be required to operate motorized vehicles for errands or supply pickups, showcasing a versatile and collaborative work environment.

This position calls for individuals who are organized, can work independently, and maintain a keen eye for detail. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays when necessary is important, as is the physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds. A valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and current auto insurance are also required for safety and operational compliance.

Offering a competitive benefits package, ELS values its employees by providing medical, dental, and vision coverage, a generous 401(k) employer match, and paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave. Working as a Housekeeper at ELS presents not only an opportunity to be part of an esteemed hospitality organization but also to develop your skills and contribute meaningfully to guest experiences in a beautiful resort setting. ELS supports a welcoming and respectful workplace that encourages continuous learning, professionalism, and positive guest interactions. If you are seeking a rewarding career in hospitality with a trusted and stable company, ELS invites you to apply and join their dedicated team.
