Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalency
  • six months of experience in housekeeping preferred
  • ability to read, write and speak English
  • strong oral, written and telephone skills
  • dependable
  • able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
  • certified in First Aid/CPR
  • must be in good health and physically/mentally capable of performing assigned tasks
  • must possess knowledge of safe sanitation and safety practices
  • capable of meeting all requirements specified by the state or regulatory agencies

Job Duties

  • Uphold mission, philosophies, and values
  • clean assigned resident apartments, common areas, and offices in accordance with community policy
  • report any items in need of repair to the Housekeeping Manager
  • collect, wash, fold and return resident linen and personal laundry weekly while ensuring all personal items are labeled
  • provide additional cleaning/sanitizing of incontinent resident suites as directed
  • clean carpets by method of extraction and/or shampooing as directed
  • assist with resident move-ins by helping to arrange personal belongings
