Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
  • ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and carry throughout a full shift
  • able to lift up to 30 pounds and use housekeeping equipment safely
  • willingness to complete required training and safety certifications upon hire

Job Duties

  • Clean resident apartments and common areas including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces
  • dust, vacuum, mop, and disinfect surfaces to ensure a healthy, pleasant environment
  • manage laundry services by washing, drying, and folding linens and personal clothing
  • restock housekeeping supplies and keep storage areas neat and organized
  • help maintain a clean and safe environment to reduce health risks and improve quality of life
  • follow resident schedules and preferences when performing services to promote comfort and satisfaction
  • alert leadership to maintenance concerns or safety hazards noticed during rounds
  • collaborate with care staff and other departments to meet resident needs
  • assist during special events, seasonal deep cleans, or when a teammate needs help
  • treat residents and coworkers with kindness, dignity, and respect at all times
