The Lead Housekeeper role at the Laurel Glen at Sugar Land community in Sugar Land, TX, is a vital position responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall maintenance of resident apartments and common areas. This position serves as a supervisory and hands-on role, coordinating housekeeping activities and directly engaging with team members to uphold the highest standards of hygiene and care. The Lead Housekeeper ensures that living spaces are prepared meticulously to enrich residents' daily experience, emphasizing both efficiency and attention to detail. This role requires strong communication skills, leadership ability, and a genuine passion for enhancing the lives of senior residents through exceptional service and environment.

In this role, the Lead Housekeeper will be expected to expertly manage housekeeping tasks, including cleaning vacant apartments to ready them for new residents, maintaining ongoing cleanliness for occupied residences, and attending to all common spaces to keep the environment safe and attractive. Linen management, careful use of cleaning chemicals, and upkeep of cleaning equipment and carts are also central tasks. A key element is fostering open communication with management to promptly address maintenance concerns and ensuring the safe handling of materials and chemicals according to best practices.

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Thoroughly cleans vacant apartments and readies them for occupancy
  • assumes cleaning responsibilities for all residences and common areas on a scheduled basis
