The Housekeeper role at Belmont Village Senior Living is a full-time position with a schedule from Thursday to Monday, 7 am to 3 pm. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of the community, including resident apartments, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and hallways. The Housekeeper is responsible not only for cleaning duties but also for fostering a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere that enhances resident satisfaction. Working hands-on and actively, this position requires a reliable and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working collaboratively as part of a dedicated team. The role also demands a high standard of communication with residents and guests, emphasizing respectful and professional interactions at all times. Attention to sanitation and hygiene is paramount, especially in common areas and bathrooms, where the cleanliness must meet strict standards to maintain residents' health and comfort. The housekeeper’s commitment to hospitality and customer service makes them a key contributor to the overall positive experience within Belmont Village communities.
This position requires a candidate with at least six months of housekeeping experience in hotels or comparable settings, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. The role also demands flexibility to work assigned shifts that may include early mornings, weekends, and holidays. Clear communication skills in verbal and written English are essential to ensure smooth interactions and coordination within the community.
