Job Requirements
- High school graduate or GED
- Must be age 18 or older
- Experience with cleaning occupied apartments, hotel cleaning, or long-term care facilities
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED
- Experience with cleaning occupied apartments, hotel cleaning, or long-term care facilities
- Promote teamwork in providing services to residents
- Lifting arms above head to reach and clean shelves, ledges, and windows
- Familiar with general cleaning procedures
- Willingness to learn and help others
- Enjoyment in working with older adults
Job Duties
- Clean common areas as scheduled
- Clean occasional stains/spots as needed
- Clean public restrooms daily
- Wash windows in public areas quarterly or more often as needed
- Clean designated apartments weekly as directed
- Deep clean vacated apartments to prepare for new residents
- Assist with exterior window washing twice a year
- Ensure a safe living environment for residents
- Report concerns or observations about residents to supervisor
- Report needed supplies and equipment repairs to supervisor
- Respond promptly and efficiently to requests from residents and staff
- Empty trash containers regularly and as needed
- Assist in serving meals and bussing tables as needed
- Attend staff and in-service meetings
- Report any on-the-job injuries to supervisor before end of shift
- Maintain confidentiality of resident and community information
- Perform other duties as assigned
