Middlesex School is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join their housekeeping team. This team consists of 13 professionals who work collaboratively to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the school’s extensive facilities. The role involves performing daily housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting various areas including bathrooms, kitchens, dining areas, floors, and furniture. Housekeepers will utilize a range of equipment including cleaning carts and mechanical cleaning machines like floor cleaners, steam cleaners, and carpet cleaners to ensure a high standard of cleanliness across the campus. Additionally, the job includes supporting special event logistics by assisting in setup, management, and breakdown.

This position operates Sunday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break, during which free lunch is provided. Employees will work under the supervision of a management team composed of three managers and forepersons, while collaborating effectively with colleagues. The role also requires readiness to assist with snow removal during winter months and to communicate maintenance needs promptly. This is a physically demanding position requiring the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and operate complex cleaning machinery effectively.
